Had fun getting started with doubles and made some headway with them but really found myself drawn back into focusing mostly on single chuck. I tried using some cheap plastic chucks filled with glowsticks and that was really awesome and led to some interesting things. All in all I was able to put in at least an hour of practice almost everyday sometimes 2hrs. and its really cool how that amount of time add ups the skill points in sneaky ways. I was feeling sluggish and clumsy many times but then when i watched the practice footage I was actually spinning longer and better than I ever have. Its odd how improving changes perspective, in many ways the better i get the more I see room to improve and feel inexperienced.
For November Ive decided to challenge myself to try a new trick or combo everyday and calling it Nunchuck November. November 1rst was a new fingeroll/spin, today (Nov 2) am trying to finally learn the butterfly/infiniwave. Hoping to get down as many tricks as possible but will not be getting hung up on it and focus on having fun with the learning process instead of fighting to check moves on the learning list
End of October start of November

That sounds awesome Jay! I can’t wait to see what you come up with! You should post your progress on instagram and on here! I think I’d like to do a challenge like that when time frees up a little more!
I’m going to do a progress update for it in weekly intervals. Oh and BTW I picked several of your nunchuku lab trick challenges to try and they turned out to be super fun to work on 🙂
How is all of that going, Jay? Sorry about the delay. I was not prepared for how busy my last month would be!
