It’s been a great week, I love how it’s always only a matter of time until ability expands and allows moves to connect In new ways which leads to new ideas. Flow is like a giant puzzle. Even mistakes start becoming useful and lead to new ideas. I think a lot of tricks have been invented from reoccurring mistakes. It’s as if one day it’s a screwup and a few days later it becomes “hey maybe I can use that if I just add on to it and move with confidence”.
For example I kept accidentally stopping my chucks with a antsy finger, It was just this weird hangup I started having. First I was annoyed by it but then it was a new way to stop and grab the chucks then it was great for a redirect if done within certain combinations.
My theory is that all the digit rolls I was practicing led to feeling for the rope subconsciously and when I stopped fighting the impulse and calling it a mistake it was instantly useful
Mistakes aren’t always bad

Mistakes are great! They also teach you what not to do! We of course know what not to do, but when you smack yourself in the face with some wood chucks, you really learn the lesson to keep your arm out farther haha.
Right now I’m working on perfecting a move, and I only got to find this move because I missed grabbing the chucks out of a wristroll but kept going with my movement on accident. I’ll have to post a video when I get it down.
But that’s a prime example of the benefit of mistakes. Evolution in life is due to improvements made by accidental traits being developed, which turned out to be quite advantageous.
Well said and Lol, yeah I definitely know what you mean about mistakes teaching what not to do as well. Also I look forward to seeing the trick you are working on
